Petrol, diesel, alcohol fuels & Avgas
Tanks can be assessed, repaired or fabricated for petrol, diesel, methanol, ethanol and Avgas applications. Material, fittings and any internal sealing system are selected for the intended fuel and operating environment.

Stainless steel
316 & 304 stainless

5083 & 5052 aluminium
Marine-grade 5083 aluminium is commonly selected for marine work, while 5052 aluminium is used for suitable general-purpose tanks and fabricated applications.

Mild steel remains a practical option for suitable repairs, restorations and custom replacement tanks.
How the work starts
- Send photos of the complete tank, fittings, damaged areas and mounting points.
- Include dimensions, material, fuel or fluid type, vehicle or vessel details and any known repair history.

Safe preparation comes first
A used fuel tank can retain dangerous vapour even when it appears empty. Do not cut, weld, ship or deliver a tank until you have contacted the workshop and followed the preparation instructions.
